Dear Readers, Today many of us are struggling as we learn more about the horrific gun violence that occurred yesterday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, just 10 days after the supermarket massacre in Buffalo, NY. Our nation lost 21 beautiful souls yesterday, two of whom had devoted their lives to teaching. I'm writing to share a few resources and to encourage you to reach out to your loved ones, mental health professionals, and religious communities to grieve together. I encourage you to take care of yourself first, especially those of us who feel overwhelmed, paralyzed, and hopeless. It is OK to feel however you feel. And then when we are ready, I invite you to think to the future, and how we can try to work towards ending gun violence in this country.
